Markey - Border Collie and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Winnipeg, Manitoba

MARKEY

Border Collie, Mixed Breed
🇨🇦
Winnipeg, Manitoba
July 3rd
male, medium, adult

DESCRIPTION

Markey is approximately 1 year old and weighs 40 pounds.

He has been good with his fosters 2 large dogs but has not been introduced to cats.
He was also fine with the children he met; ages 5 and 14 when they spent a couple of days with Markey.

He has not been crated since day 1 and he sleeps through the night and there has not been any issues when left alone, he is not destructive.

He is a very affectionate calm little man who loves to be near you and get a good belly or ear rub. His foster has yet to hear him bark at anything even, when his foster brothers do.

You have to watch opening the front door as he WILL try to get out... luckily he comes right back if you shake a bag of doggy treats.
He will require regular grooming.

He takes treats gently from your hand, enjoys walks and is good on leash with very little pulling.

Markey will be an amazing addition to any home!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
