Ziti (renamed Susie Q) was originally rescued with her 4 siblings and mom from a rural shelter and adopted from the rescue. Unfortunately, her adopter recently had to surrender her back to the rescue due to a life-changing family event that required her to move out of state with very little notice.
Ziti is a very sweet, affectionate, pup that loves to cuddle and be close to her people. She loves playing with other dogs, going on walks, chewing on bully sticks and chew toys, and attention! She can still be shy around unfamiliar men; however, once the new person gets close to her, she is super submissive and will roll onto her back and show her belly and once she gets a few min to warm up, becomes very affectionate and attention seeking. She is building confidence quickly and this behavior is becoming much more rare.
Ziti would thrive in a patient and loving home that will encourage positive introductions with new people and continue to help her becoming the social butterfly that she really wants to be!
Ziti is being fostered in Houston, TX
