Rex - Border Collie and Mixed Breed Dog Available for Adoption in Spokane, Washington

Rex is an energetic and intelligent Border Collie looking for an active home that can keep up with his adventurous spirit. True to his breed, he's smart, athletic, and loves being involved in whatever his people are doing. He enjoys walks/runs & playtime.

Rex is potty trained, though he may have an occasional accident when he gets overly excited. He can be vocal and alert, often barking at new sights and sounds. He is also very mouthy when seeking attention, which is a common herding breed trait. But because this can be misunderstood as biting, we recommend a home without young children. Rex also gets along well with most dogs, especially female dogs. He would benefit from a slow introduction to any resident male dogs. He is currently recovering from a pelvic injury and still has a slight limp from time to time, though it has improved significantly. Rex would thrive with an experienced owner who understands Border Collie traits and can provide plenty of physical exercise, mental enrichment, and continued training. In return, you'll get a loyal, fun-loving companion who's ready for his next adventure!
