Border Collie

Richmond, California
June 10th
female, medium, baby
DESCRIPTION
These seemingly purebred Border Collies - TEN of them, are looking for foster homes in pairs and threes - or five!? Mom is basically done with them and just spending nights with them as of 6/4. Pups have two vaccines, and are active and wanting more stimulation and people time, outdoor time, dog socialization (at home) and more!
Herding breed pups grow up fast - and train up well, and quickly(!) in the right environment. Physical and mental stimulation needed.
We are looking for active families with smarts and true interest in working with their pup, providing lots of mental and physical stimulation daily, increasing the challenges as they grow and of course all the good basics of obedience is a snap!
These kinds of dogs are a life style. Demanding, pushy, protective, loyal to a fault, and super eager to learn more every day! Not just "Sit", "lay down, and roll over...." But also, physical outlets and challenges, off-leash, games, competitions, and lots of social interaction with dogs, other animals and people ideally - though a working dog lifestyle with interactive family members and adventures is also good!
