At 5.5 years old and 65 pounds, Elmo is proof that Border Collie mixes don't always come in compact packages! This handsome guy is a big boy and he's ready to find a family of his very own.

Elmo is recently neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations, so he's all set for his next adventure. He's friendly with people and enjoys being part of the action, but he'd really prefer to be the star of the show. Because of that, Elmo would do best in a home where he can soak up all the love, attention, and belly rubs without having to share the spotlight with other dogs.

We're still getting to know Elmo, but one thing is already crystal clear this boy is SMART! He learned how to use a doggie door in no time and loves figuring things out. His Border Collie intelligence shines through, and he'll thrive with a family that enjoys engaging with him and helping him continue to learn.

We don't yet know how Elmo does with cats or other animals, but we do know he's a loyal, people-oriented companion looking for someone to call his own.
