Sammie - Border Collie and Basset Hound Dog for Adoption in Lucedale, Mississippi

Sammie is a 5-6 month old Border Collie/Basset Hound mix. He was unfortunately found on the side of the road here in George County, MS and never reclaimed. He is an absolute sweetie pie - very gentle, kind, submissive puppy. He would be a good fit in any home, and would do well with younger kids as he is not a rough puppy. Not super high energy - he does like to play, but is also cuddly and loves a good comfy bed to lay in. He will lounge around with you if you don't feel like going on a walk. Does great in playgroups with other dogs.

This puppy is currently located at Rise & Shine Rescue in Lucedale, Mississippi and is available to adopt on our September 18th transport, arriving at Northeast pickup locations 1–2 days later, depending on the stop. Live location is always shared!
