Professional Cuddle Bug: Reign thinks she’s a newborn baby! She loves being held in your arms, upside down, while getting all the belly rubs her heart desires.

Smart Little Girl: Reign is incredibly intelligent and learns quickly. She recently discovered that chewing on walls wasn’t a good idea. After a gentle correction, she came up with the funniest solution! Now she runs over to a wall corner, opens her mouth, pauses, and then runs away! She’s already learning and showing off her adorable personality!

Making Great Progress: Reign is doing wonderfully with her house training! She knows to potty outside and is learning how to let her humans know when she needs to go out.

Amazing With Kids: Reign is AMAZING with children! She may be a little nervous at first, but her sweet, gentle nature shines through.

Happy Little Entertainer: She enjoys playing with her toys and is perfectly content entertaining herself without needing someone to play with her every minute.

People Are Her Favorite: Reign loves companionship and enjoys being around her humans. She wants to be part of the family and be wherever the love is!

Crate-Savvy Sweetheart: She sleeps in her crate and willingly goes in during the day or at night when she’s ready for a nap.

BEFORE CONSIDERING A PUPPY FOR ADOPTION: Please keep in mind that puppies need attention during the day. They need frequent potty breaks, playtime, socialization and often a mid day meal. Please consider your daytime schedule before applying for a puppy.

SPAY/NEUTER POLICY: Our adoption fee covers the puppies spay or neuter at our vet in Libertyville. If the puppy is adopted prior to the spay or neuter being done you will be required to bring the puppy back to our vet within 30 days for the surgery.

ADOPTION FEE: $500.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative.

ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org.
Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possibly. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
