At 7 years old, Steele is a very handsome blue merle Border Collie with all the drive and focus typical in the breed. He absolutely loves ball play and takes direction very quickly, eager to please. He is very focused and smart as a whip. Thankfully, he’s had lots of fun for many years living on 40 acres with a pack of other BCs.

Steele is extremely sweet and very good-natured though he can have worries about new situations. He’s met numerous people since his FurDad had a campground and construction business with many visitors, but he can be wary at first and bark. His concerns can be handled with reassurance and clear direction letting him know what he should do - sit, get the ball, come to me, etc. Steele easily takes direction. He is a thinker so once he feels secure, he is extremely trusting.

A BC savvy adopter will be best for him.
