Minnie – Border Collie/Labrador mix – 8 yrs – female (81lbs)

Meet Minnie! This precious girl was actually born into our rescue and adopted at just eight weeks old. The couple who adopted her divorced a few years later and the man took Minnie. Unfortunately for Minnie, his life was not stable and he frequently dropped her off with different friends and family members, none whom actually wanted her. It’s really sad because she’s a great dog who deserves stability and people who adore her. She spent the last year with his parents who said they didn’t want her and would take her to county if she couldn’t be returned to us . Ultimately, we wish they had returned her years ago so she could have lived her life with people that truly love her. But, that’s in the past and now we’re committed to finding this sweet girl a forever home where she can live out her best years.

Minnie is such a sweetheart! She’s housebroken, crate trained, and good with people of all ages. We know she’s successfully lived with both children and other dogs. She doesn’t play much, but enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to cool off in the baby pool. She’s also good in the car and great on a leash. And if you’re wondering about her tail, she came back to us in rough shape and a bit overweight so we made sure to have some routine vet care done. She had a small, benign mass removed from her tail and is perfectly healthy. Minnie needs a stable FOREVER home so she can feel safe and secure. She’s not a possession to be passed around.
