Ruthy Mavis Smarty Pants - Border Collie and German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Friendswood, Texas

Meet Ruthy Mavis Smarty Pants!

https://youtu.be/Yz_cKtL836c

Ruth is a 2-year-old Border Collie and Shepherd mix who is smart, joyful, and such a catch! She has a bright mind that is always working and a happy spirit that lights up every room she walks into. Sweet, curious, and full of personality, she greets each day like it’s an invitation to learn something new, and her joy is contagious. She’s the kind of girl who makes you smile just by being herself.

Ruth is great with her foster siblings, and she would do best with larger dogs. Cats would be okay in the house, and she did great with our resident cat. She loves her toys and can happily play by herself too, taking breaks when she needs them, so she’s just as content with a game of her own as she is with a friend.

She is ready for a loving family who will give her the active life she needs. Ruth would be a great adventure buddy, a farmers market sidekick, or a trailblazer on the trail, and she walks great on leash, so she’s ready to go wherever you are. She’s also athletic, with skilled jumps and leaps from her past life as a circus performer. She balances all that energy with a real love for people and affection, and she’s happy to curl up close after a day of adventures.

Ruth is also ready for someone to teach her new things. With her Border Collie and Shepherd brains, she’s eager to learn, and the right person will have a blast showing her new tricks, skills, and games. Plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and training are recommended to keep this bright girl happy.

Ruth is looking for a family with plenty of love, an active lifestyle, and a lot of adventures planned. Could that be you?
