MEET ASIA - THE LITTLE GIRL WHO DOESN'T KNOW SHE'S DIFFERENT!
Asia is an adorable black-and-white Border Collie mix with the sweetest personality and a heart full of love.
Asia was born with a crooked front leg due to a birth defect. There isn't a procedure to correct it, and honestly, Asia doesn't seem to know she's any different from the other puppies! She gets around in her own way, plays, enjoys life, and doesn't let her leg slow her down.
When the original rescuers found Asia on the streets of Mexicali, they almost didn't offer her to us because they thought we might not want a puppy with a crooked leg.
But how could we say no to her? If anything, it made us love her even more. Every dog deserves a chance, and Asia is no exception.
She is healthy, incredibly friendly, loving, and ready to find a family who will see what we see: a beautiful little soul who deserves just as much happiness as any other puppy.
Asia is looking for a very special adopter who will embrace her exactly as she is and give her the forever home she deserves.
To adopt please fill out an adoption application with this link and a member of our team will call you to coordinate meeting/adoption as soon as same day: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SOU/Dog
Applicants are typically contacted within the same day of submission. Adopters are chosen based on the best fit for the dog. If your application is approved, we will contact you to set up an appointment to speak further and meet in San Diego! All pups available for adoption are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, up-to-date on dewormer, and spayed/neutered.
