DESCRIPTION
Meet Remus. Remus is a purebred border collie that was bred from both Merle parents. Unfortunately, he is blind and deaf. Remus is very friendly and full of puppy energy. He will do best in a home that has done research on dogs with these disabilities. He will need to stay on a leash or will probably do best with a fenced-in yard. He does well with the other dogs in his foster home. He is also fostered with cats and does well with them. Housebreaking is a work in progress but he is doing well with crate training. We were told his date of birth was around the middle of May 2026. He has a lot of growing to do yet, while he loves to be snuggled and held, he will probably grow to be about 50-60 lbs. Remus is now neutered and up to date with vaccines for his age as well as microchipped. He is on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $300.00. If you are interested in adopting Remus, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.
