Meet Sophia
Sophia is a sweet, gentle girl who came to TRUAA from a backyard breeding/hoarding situation. Because she missed out on early socialization, she can be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she is incredibly loving and affectionate.
She has spent about a year in our Paws in Progress program and has made amazing progress. Sophia is kennel trained, walks well on a leash, rides well in the car, knows basic commands, and does great with dogs, cats, kids, chickens, goats, and people.
What Sophia needs most is a patient family who will give her time to settle in and build trust. Once she does, she’ll happily follow you around, cuddle beside you, and soak up all the love
Sophia is ready for the safe, loving home she deserves.
Sophia is spayed, update to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is currently on heartworm and flea preventative.
