HI WORLD, I'M TRIXIE! a 32-lb, 2-year-old Border Collie girl/fixed and up to date on shots with a micro chip, currently staying with my foster family in Heppner, OR, and I’m looking for my forever home!
Here’s a little about me in my own words:
I adore other dogs and I love playing with puppies! But sometimes I get super excited during play and my herding instincts kick in with a little nip, so playmates who understand my fun, energetic style are best! I get along great with cats and do well around farm animals and livestock! I’m learning how toys work and finding out just how fun they are! I walk nicely on a leash and have decent recall when you call my name!
I'm super smart! I am already learning sit, stay, kennel, down, and come. • Potty training is going great! I really don't like being left alone. If I'm left by myself in an inside or outside kennel during the day, I get lonely and will bark all day, but if you are by my side at night time I will be very quite while you sleep. I need a family or routine where I have plenty of companionship! Please don’t leave me alone.
New surroundings make me a bit skittish at first, so I just need a calm environment to settle in. I'm nervous around guys, but if you give me time, gentle space, and patience, I will warm up and let my sweet personality shine!
