Fava is the shy sort who would do best with a calm and supportive family who can help put him at ease, so we recommend that any children in his new home are age 10 or older so they can understand his needs. Fava told us that he is not a fan of small dogs or cats, so he is required to go to a home without them. If there is another large dog in the home, an introduction at the shelter will be required to see if Fava and his new friend will be a good match.
