GERALD

Border Collie, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Mckinleyville, California
April 27th

DESCRIPTION

GERALD Is a lovely senior gentleman who is just over the moon for love and affection! He doesn't mind the company of other dogs but prefers mellower more calm companions. He's already got a lot of knowledge under his belt like sit and paw and we're sure he has loads more we've yet to discover. He is challenged in hearing and sight as is usual for his age, but just try and resist this absolute love of a boy. He's a staff favorite so don't miss out on the opportunity to be a bright light for this well deserving senior. Do you have a warm spot in the sun or by the fire? Gerald currently weighs in at just 35lbs! If you're interested in meeting Gerald, please visit https://humboldtgov.org/2658/Animal-Shelter and fill out an application to be pre-approved to make an appointment.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
