WILLOW

Border Collie, Mixed Breed
🇨🇦
Clavet, Saskatchewan
April 14th
female, medium, young

DESCRIPTION

Meet Willow, a beautiful white and red Border Collie mix with a friendly, spirited, and incredibly sweet personality. She's very affectionate and loves attention, often leaning in close or sitting partway in your lap to soak up all the pets she can get. While she can be a bit nervous, Willow always shows her loving nature. She's full of energy and absolutely loves playing fetch, especially with her favorite rope toys. Willow knows "sit" and "lay down," has good recall, and is eager to learn, though she's still working on her manners like jumping up and trying to herd people. She gets along well with other dogs and is playful with cats (she may chase but isn't aggressive). Make sure you keep any garbage bins covered as this goofball has been known to turn tissues into confetti! Smart, silly, and full of love, Willow is ready for adoption and eager to find her forever home.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
