Border Collie and Husky Dogs Available for Adoption in Oshawa, Ontario

Luna is a 7.5 year old Border Collie x Husky mix who is ready to find her forever home! Luna is a loyal, loving and intelligent dog who is eager to please her owner and be part of the pack. A medium energy dog, Luna enjoys the best of both worlds: she loves to get outside for walks and off leash time (she has great recall!), and thrives on a good game of fetch; but afterward, she’ll be happy to snuggle up on the couch next to her owner for a good post-walk snooze.

Luna is house trained, crate trained, and has excellent obedience commands, including heel, sit, stay, down, place, here, and leave it/out. Check out the video where she approaches a plate of treats and leaves it alone when hearing the ‘out’ command.

Luna is best suited to a home with no dogs, cats or children. She struggles with meeting new people, but thrives when given time and space to interact with people on her own terms. Luna would be a wonderful companion for an adult or couple who is willing to put the time and energy into keeping up with her training and giving her the space to flourish!
