Violet is an affectionate, lovely young puppy with a whole lotta love to give her new family. Born in early February 2026 and around 12#, she’s described as easy-going and happy. She is a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix who loves her people most of all
Violet enjoys exploring and learning about life - there's a lot to see in the world! She’s curious and smart. Playing with toys until it’s nap time, she’s a typical puppy. She will make an excellent family dog! And who can resist those freckles?
She is looking for an active, engaged family who can’t wait to include a dog in all of life’s adventures. Violet wants to go on hikes, road trips, and do all the things her family does. She wants both physical exercise and mental stimulation but doesn’t demand a ton of activity to be happy: she has a nice medium energy. Her ideal family has a background with herding breeds and a physically fenced yard, or they are experienced in keeping dogs safe on leash.
Violet is working on all the basics: house training, crate training, and leash skills are all in progress. She wants to take obedience classes and continue great socialization to ensure she grows into a well-mannered adult dog. She could live with children old enough to provide consistent, patient guidance about what puppies can and cannot chew on. She would love a canine sibling in her new family or could be an only dog with a fully engaged family. She needs frequent potty breaks; please make sure your application details your schedule.
If you’re ready for a loving, sweet girl who wants nothing more than time with you, Violet might be your girl!

They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit.
