Ash is a stunning black-and-white boy, just over a year old, with soulful amber eyes and a heart that simply wants to be close to his person. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side through it all, Ash is your guy. He’s the kind of dog who forms a deep bond and chooses you as his person.

Ash came to us as an owner surrender after an incident involving a chicken, so he will need a home without small livestock. With that said, he does well with other dogs and enjoys their company.

He’s a sweet, affectionate young dog with a good amount of energy. Ash knows his basic commands and is great on a leash. He’s smart and eager—he just needs guidance and consistency to help him become his best self.

One of Ash’s best qualities is how well he does on a leash—he has a natural heel and stays right by your side, making walks feel easy and connected. He truly enjoys being with his person and shows that through how closely he sticks with you.

Ash does struggle with going back into his kennel, which tells us he truly just wants to be with his people. He will go in though with guidance.
