Turbo - Bluetick Coonhound Dog for Adoption in Tulsa, Oklahoma

LOCATION: POTEAU, OK
ADOPTABLE ANYWHERE IN THE USA

Meet Turbo. Yes, Turbo. The name is aspirational. Right now he moves at a cautious shuffle, but we like where this is going.

Turbo is a bluetick coonhound pup who spent at least the last two weeks alone in the woods in Oklahoma. At first he wouldn't come near anyone. When a kind couple went back for him, he stumbled right up to them like he'd been waiting on the ride. Since then he's been nothing but sweet. Gentle, grateful, and not a mean bone in him, even while he's hurting.

He walks on a leash (and pulls, because he's a hound with places to be), he's eating, and he drinks water like he's making up for lost time. He's very thin, and his foot, his eye, and his runny nose all need attention, so he has some healing to do. Our vets have their work cut out for them, but it's safe to assume skinny and tired is a temporary look.
