Maverick - Bloodhound and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in York, Pennsylvania

Meet Maverick! This handsome guy was surrendered at no fault of his own and when he first got here, he was extremely shut down and terrified. It took a few days of staff showing him he was okay for us to now be met with a happy, playful guy! Mav still shows some stranger danger, especially towards men, so a family who is understanding, patient and willing to continue socializing him is a must. His family also should be okay with his big loud barks, as Mav likes to let everyone know he wants that food or toy in your hand. Once Maverick knows he's safe though, you'll see his goofy personality come through. Maverick is ready to find his family, could you be it?
