Daysi - Black Mouth Cur and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Portland, Oregon

Meet Daysi! This sweet pup was rescued in Todos Santos, Mexico in 2025 from a farm along with 11 other puppies. We estimate this sweet gal was born in March of 2025, and she currently weighs around 30 pounds. Daysi is patiently waiting for her forever family to find her, and is practicing all her skills to show off when she finally does meet them!

Daysi is a sweet heart and her eyes will melt your heart! She loves to meet new people and is very outgoing. Daysi enjoys playing with all her doggie friends at the shelter, and gets along with both and male female pups. She also has experience with young children and has been walked by many different handlers. This sweetie is always down for an afternoon walk followed by some belly rubs and cuddles. Daysi would be a great companion for any family looking to add a medium energy younger pup to their home. Daysi is currently working on her sit and stay skills at our shelter while she waits for her forever family to find her! So don't hesitate to apply today this adorable gal.

All of Saving Baja Paws dogs come with a fantastic flexible foster-to-adopt option. This is a unique opportunity that allows your family to make sure it a perfect match with your new pup.

Daysi is currently located in La Paz, Mexico at our shelter and is hanging out in the sun and with their doggie friends all day long. She is ready to venture to the PNW if we have a dedicated foster or an adopter. Once a pup is picked for a new family they can normally arrive to the PNW within 15 days.

Daysi's adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $400USD. This helps us cover most of her vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.

All our pups come fully up to date on shots, are tested for heartworm and other diseases, microchipped, fecal tested, current on flea medications, and also come spayed / neutered.
