Brock was found running the streets of Ennis with a little sidekick by his side. Safe in rescue now, he's fully vetted and ready to leave street life behind for the sweet life he's always deserved. Brock is very dog-friendly and loves a good rough-and-tumble play session, but what he's really looking for is a family who will love him, care for him, and show him what home truly means.
If you're ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt.
Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period.
If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don't be afraid to ask us anything.
ABOUT: BLACK MOUTH CUR DOG BREED
The Black Mouth Cur is a versatile and intelligent hunting dog known for its strong work ethic and loyalty. Originating in the southern United States, these medium to large sized dogs are muscular and athletic. Their distinctive feature is the black mask on their muzzle, giving them their name. Black Mouth Curs excel in various tasks such as hunting, herding, and guarding, making them ideal companions for active families looking for a versatile and devoted canine.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
