Who doesn't want a lovable lab? Kasey is a 7-year-old lab mix with a huge heart! Kasey came to HAP when her owners realized she would be best suited for a family who is home more often. They had originally adopted her from another local rescue, which unfortunately did not have space to take her back, so Kasey is now with us! Kasey was a wonderful companion in her previous home, but she began experiencing some GI upset when left alone for extended periods, such as during an 8-hour workday. Her owners tried several ways to help ease her stress, including doggy daycare and medication, and they also consulted with their veterinarian. Despite their best efforts, it became clear that Kasey simply does best with less time alone, and her GI issues resolve with family home more often! The good news is that Kasey is also non-destructive and very quiet in the home. If she needs to be left alone occasionally, she can tolerate it just fine. However, she would thrive with an owner who is home more frequently and can provide her with plenty of companionship throughout the day!

Kase LOVES other dogs and people, making her the perfect addition to any family! She is extremely outgoing, making friends with people everywhere she goes. She has done well meeting children and has gentle, loving demeanor. Kasey is already house-trained, knows basic commands, and walks well on a leash too! If you're looking for a sweet, well-behaved companion who would love to spend lots of time by your side, Kasey may be the perfect match!

If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
