Meet Toby!

Toby is the kind of puppy who makes it impossible not to smile. From his adorably floppy ears that bounce while he walks to his endless enthusiasm for life, this handsome boy is ready to find the family he's been waiting for.

Toby's favorite things include walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war with his foster brother, frozen treats, lick mats, bones, and (of course) stealing every toy and bone out of the toy bin just because he can. He's also convinced that ice cubes are one of life's greatest treasures. When he's not busy playing, Toby loves giving his foster mom kisses and soaking up all the affection he can get.

Despite being left behind in an apartment when his previous family moved away, Toby hasn't let his past define him. He is incredibly trusting, loving, and well-mannered, proving every day just how resilient dogs can be.

Toby rides great in the car, walks nicely on a leash, is both house-trained and kennel-trained, and already knows commands like "sit" and "lay down." At the end of an active day, he's happiest curled up next to his people on the couch for some quality snuggle time.

Toby would likely love a home with another playful dog companion, though it's not required. Any canine sibling should be comfortable with a young dog who still has some puppy energy and enthusiasm. Cats are currently an unknown. Because Toby is still working on keeping all four paws on the floor when he gets excited, a home without small children would be the best fit.
