DESCRIPTION
Meet Thaddeus
Lab Mix 7 Months Neutered Male
Thaddeus has spent far too much of his life waiting.
He arrived at the shelter as a puppy back in February and, while other dogs came and went, Thaddeus kept getting overlooked. Month after month passed until he became the shelter's longest resident and eventually landed on the urgent list.
Thankfully, a foster stepped up just in time, and Thaddeus finally got his freedom ride.
Now he's safe, learning what life outside the shelter is all about, and getting the chance to be a dog instead of just another kennel number.
While he's still settling into foster care, we do know a few things about him already. Thaddeus did well with other dogs at the shelter and also passed his cat test, making him a promising candidate for a variety of homes.
After spending so much of his young life growing up behind kennel walls, Thaddeus deserves a family that will show him what it's like to be loved, included, and truly home.
He's waited long enough. Now all he needs is someone willing to give him a chance.
ABOUT: BLACK LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The black Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile breed known for its friendly nature, intelligence, and loyalty. They are agile, keen swimmers with a strong work ethic, making them excellent hunting and service dogs. Their glossy black coat is low maintenance and sheds minimally, while their friendly temperament makes them great family pets. Black Labs are known for their outgoing personalities and eagerness to please, making them loving companions in various roles and settings.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
