Meet Buoy!
Buoy is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever girl with a gentle heart and plenty of youthful energy.
She came to the shelter as a stray, so we’re still getting to know her personality and learning more about what kind of home will suit her best.
At first, Buoy can be a little shy while she takes in her surroundings, but once she starts to feel comfortable, her sweet nature really shines through. She enjoys attention and has the playful energy you would expect from a young Lab.
With a little patience and encouragement, Buoy is sure to grow into a confident and loving companion.
Because she arrived as a stray, we do not currently know how Buoy does with children, cats, or other dogs.
Slow introductions and a patient family will help her adjust and succeed in a new home.
Buoy is not yet spayed, so her adoption will be limited to Stafford County residents and neighboring counties until this procedure is completed.
If you’re looking for a sweet young dog with lots of potential and love to give, Buoy may be the perfect addition to your family!
