DESCRIPTION
If you are searching for an athletic, affectionate adventure buddy who will happily snuggle up with you after a fun-filled day, Gillian (or "Gilly" as her foster family calls her!) is your girl.
Gillian is a vibrant, high-energy sweetheart with a fun-loving spirit. Her absolute favorite activities include intense games of tug-of-war, zooming around with her sister Sally, and showing off her impressive speed. Once Gillys burns off her energy, her deeply sweet side takes over-she is a total lovebug who wants nothing more than to curl up right next to you for cozy snuggle sessions.
Gilly is living in a foster home with her sister, Sally. We don't adopt siblings together, but both girls would enjoy having a doggy sibling to play with in her forever home. Because both sisters love to run and play so much, they would thrive in homes with yards where they can stretch their legs and let their playful spirit shine. These pups are also proving to be water babies who love splashing and playing in the water!
Gilly is still a young puppy who needs to fully master all the important puppy lessons, so she'll need a family ready to jump in with puppy training!
ABOUT: BLACK LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The black Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile breed known for its friendly nature, intelligence, and loyalty. They are agile, keen swimmers with a strong work ethic, making them excellent hunting and service dogs. Their glossy black coat is low maintenance and sheds minimally, while their friendly temperament makes them great family pets. Black Labs are known for their outgoing personalities and eagerness to please, making them loving companions in various roles and settings.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
