Ollie is an 8 month old black Lab mix weighing 46 pounds with a sleek, shiny coat, a heart full of love, and a smile that never seems to fade. He is the kind of dog who makes every day a little brighter.

People are Ollie's favorite thing. He loves attention and has an adorable habit of leaning into you before happily melting onto the floor at your feet, hoping for pets and belly rubs. He wants nothing more than to be part of the family and included in whatever you're doing.

As a young Lab, Ollie enjoys an active lifestyle. He happily joins his foster on long walks and still has plenty of energy left for zoomies and playtime afterward. Once his exercise needs are met, he settles nicely and enjoys relaxing near his people.

Ollie is almost house trained, walks well on leash, and is highly motivated by treats and praise. He is learning the basics quickly and responds well to calm redirection. He is a smart young dog who genuinely wants to learn and will thrive with continued positive training.

Like many puppies, Ollie is still discovering the rules of home life. He is learning which items are toys, how to play politely, and how to feel comfortable spending short periods on his own. He settles in his crate after a few minutes and is making steady progress building confidence and independence.

Ollie is also working on staying focused when he sees other dogs on walks. He is already showing improvement and looks to his handler more often as his confidence and training grow.
