What we love most about Alfalfa is his ability to trust even though he is scared. It speaks volumes about his temperament that he now DOES trust us. He so wants to be near people and be loved. He just needs time to feel safe in their presence; so, we'll need anyone interested in Alfalfa to allow him that extra time to understand he is safe. He is so. very. worth. it.

Alfalfa came into the shelter with his big furbrother, Mijo! He enjoys time with him and it is an option to adopt them both but definitely not a requirement!
When we've seen Alfalfa around other dogs, he seems to relax and follow their lead but we still need to observe a few more interactions.

Alfalfa would benefit from an adopter who will be patient with him and give him lots of great opportunities to succeed! This little boy has melted all of our hearts. We love him so much
