Gunner is a friendly, affectionate, 3-year-old, 60 pound black Labrador Retriever mix who has been part of a family in Plain City, OH since he was 8 weeks old. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and vet care, and has lived in a home with children and several other dogs.



Gunner has a sweet personality and enjoys being around people. He is social, loyal, and loves attention. He has been raised in a busy family environment and is accustomed to everyday household activity. He enjoys outdoor time, companionship, and being included in family life.



This decision has been incredibly difficult because Gunner is deeply loved. Due to major family changes and financial situation, Gunner's family wants to make sure he has the stable, loving home and long-term care that he deserves.



Their greatest hope is to find Gunner a safe and caring home where he will continue to be loved as part of the family. Gunner would likely do best in a home with a doggie friend as he is used to living with several other dogs, however if someone were home most of the time with him or wanted a buddy to bring everywhere, he could be a fit as well.
