Trying to survive in a run-down apartment complex on a bad side of town is NO life for a tiny 6lb puppy, so when Sanibel and her sisters were able to be brought to safety, it was clear they deserved names that denoted their needs and dreams of being ANYWHERE but the Corridor - so each got a lovely destination city for a name, and life has started anew!
Sanibel, being both smallest and closest to solid black, is the most fearless of the three. Giving zero consideration for the rules of the playpen in her foster home, she lasted 2 days before being deemed the 'escape artist'. Tiny and impressionable, the girls are all being given a quality taste of home life through an amazing foster family and their resident dogs. While leash training and potty skills are honed, we dream of forever homes for these once desolate little hearts! They may not be big kids when full grown, but their adventures surely will! Considering a new companion? Consider giving solid little Sanibel a whirl!
