Meet Indy!

Named after Independence Day, Indy is a spirited little girl with a heart as big as her personality! Born on May 16th, 2026, at just 8 weeks old, this adorable black Lab and German Shepherd mix is already stealing hearts everywhere she goes.

Indy came into rescue with her siblings after they were removed from their young mother, who simply didn't know how to nurse them. Since then, she has been thriving in foster care, where she is learning what it means to be safe, loved, and cherished.

This sweet girl is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. She loves to romp around with her siblings, but she's just as happy to stop what she's doing to make eye contact with her people and ask for cuddles. Indy has a way of melting your heart with her gentle spirit, happy personality, and loving nature.

Her beautiful black coat is accented with adorable white "socks" and the cutest little white-tipped tail that never seems to stop wagging. She also has a soft spot for plush toys and loves carrying around her favorite chewable lovies.

Indy is already working hard on crate training, potty training, and leash training, and she's proving to be an incredibly fast learner. She especially enjoys going outside to potty in the grass and is doing wonderfully with her training.

This social little girl loves children and enjoys spending time with people of all ages. She gets along great with other puppies and dogs and is curious about the foster family's cats, making slow, friendly introductions as she learns about her feline friends.
