Gumbo - Black Labrador Retriever and Cattle Dog Dog for Adoption in Hopkinton, Massachusetts

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.

Meet Gumbo! Gumbo is approximately 1 years old, 52 lbs at the moment, and he may have some Lab and cattle dog in his mix. Gumbo was found as a stray by the street department. In his foster home, Gumbo is working hard on his house-training, crate-training, and leash walking. He could join households with kids 5+, and other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats. No apartments, please!

His foster says, "Gumbo is a big sweetheart that just wants to cuddle and play. He loves playing with all of the dogs in my home. He would do well somewhere with a fenced yard where he can work on his leash walking skills. He’s not too high energy, but does love to spend time outdoors and inside playing with both my dogs and with people. At the end of the day, he loves snuggling up on the couch. He’s going to make a great family dog!"
