Coco Soft Heart isn't in a hurry to give her heart away, but when she does, you'll understand why her name suits her so beautifully. This sweet girl likes to take a little time to get comfortable, quietly figuring out who you are and whether she can trust you with her affection. But give Coco a chance to settle in, and something wonderful happens. Her playful side begins to peek through, her sweet personality starts to shine, and suddenly that once-reserved girl is showing you just how much love she's been holding onto. Coco doesn't need to be the center of attention. She's simply waiting for someone who will make her feel safe enough to be herself.

Getting to know Coco is a lovely experience because there's something so special about watching a dog become comfortable in your presence. She may be a little reserved when meeting someone new, but patience and kindness go a long way with this sweetheart. As she begins to feel secure, you'll discover a playful, affectionate companion who has so much personality waiting to be shared.
And yes, Coco has a playful side! Once she's comfortable, she's happy to let a little fun into her day. It's a wonderful contrast to her more cautious first impression, and seeing that side of her emerge makes spending time together even more rewarding. Those happy moments are a beautiful reminder that sometimes all a dog needs is a little time and understanding to show you who they really are.
Coco also has some fantastic household manners already established. She's house trained and crate trained, two wonderful qualities that can help make her transition into a new home more comfortable. She's familiar with household routines and having her own designated space, giving her a great foundation as she adjusts to her future family.
And what about cats? Coco has shown that she understands the importance of respecting feline personal space. She isn't interested in making the household cat uncomfortable or insisting on unwanted attention. Instead, she gives cats their room and allows them to go about their business. Her respectful approach is an encouraging quality for a home with a resident cat, although introductions should always be gradual and supervised.
What makes Coco especially endearing is her gentle approach to building relationships. She isn't asking anyone to rush her or overwhelm her with attention. She appreciates having the opportunity to get acquainted at her own pace, and that patience is rewarded with the discovery of her sweet, playful personality.
Coco has wonderful potential as a family companion, particularly in a home where her people appreciate a dog who may need a little time to settle in. She would love a family willing to provide a consistent routine, gentle encouragement, and plenty of opportunities to feel included without pressure.
Imagine the moment Coco begins seeking you out on her own, choosing to spend time nearby, or showing off her playful side because she finally feels completely comfortable. Those little milestones are the beginning of something truly special. With each passing day, she'll have more opportunities to understand that she belongs and that the people around her are there to love and care for her.
A peaceful, loving environment would mean so much to Coco. She's ready for a home where she can relax, enjoy the comforts of family life, and never have to wonder whether she has a place of her own. A soft place to rest, a familiar routine, and people who celebrate her progress would make a wonderful beginning.
Coco Soft Heart may take a little time to open up, but there's a beautiful friendship waiting on the other side of that patience. She's sweet, playful once comfortable, respectful of cats, and already has excellent house-training and crate-training foundations.
More than anything, Coco deserves the chance to feel truly at ease. A home where she can enjoy the simple pleasures of being loved, where her gentle personality is appreciated, and where every day brings another reason to feel secure.
Coco Soft Heart has so much love waiting to be shared. All she needs now is someone willing to give her the time, kindness, and forever home she deserves.

We care deeply about creating lasting matches between dog and family for long term success, and take the time to ensure each adoption is a fit through our matchmaking process.
At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
