DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Blackie! I'm a happy, brave, and confident little guy who's ready to find my forever family.
My story started on the side of a road in Puerto Rico, where I was found alone and fragile. A kind volunteer rushed me to the vet, and I fought through like the brave pup I am. Now I'm healthy, thriving, and full of life!
I am incredibly affectionate. I love physical contact and will follow my human everywhere. If you're looking for a loyal shadow, that's me! I'm also very sociable and love meeting new people and other dogs of all sizes. In my foster home, I live with several dogs and happily follow them around all day.
Here's what my foster family says about me:
- Walks nicely on a leash
- Comes when called
- Alert and curious about my surroundings
- Gets along great with dogs of all sizes
- Extremely affectionate and loves to be close to his people
- Doing well with potty training
I'm currently 6.5 lb, and I'll likely be around 40-50lb full grown (perfect size for both cuddles and adventures). I'm not neutered yet, but Justice for Paws covers the cost of my neuter when age appropriate.
