Meet Bentley
13 Years Young Male Labrador Mix Senior Sweetheart
Bentley isn’t looking for a lifetime of adventures. He’s looking for a lifetime of love, however long that may be.
Meet Bentley, a handsome 13-year-old Labrador mix with the sweetest grey muzzle, gentle brown eyes, and a heart full of love still waiting to be shared.
After spending years in a loving home, Bentley is facing an unexpected change through absolutely no fault of his own. Sadly, his owner’s declining health has made it impossible to continue providing the care and attention Bentley deserves.
When his story reached Last Litter Foster & Rehome, we knew we had to help. Despite temporarily closing our surrender intakes, we simply couldn’t turn our backs on this beautiful senior boy.
Bentley is our rescue’s very first senior surrender, and we’re determined to make his golden years as comfortable, peaceful, and love-filled as possible.
A Little About Bentley
Bentley is described as a sweet, easygoing gentleman who deserves nothing more than a warm bed, gentle affection, a predictable routine, and someone to love him unconditionally.
At 13 years old, Bentley doesn’t need endless adventures or long hikes. He needs a patient family who understands the beauty of loving a senior dog.
Bentley has been diagnosed with canine cognitive dysfunction and experiences anxiety, for which he currently takes medication. His future family should be comfortable supporting his senior needs and maintaining his medication and veterinary care.
Due to his prey drive, Bentley requires a home without cats, rabbits, birds, or other small animals.
Bentley’s Ideal Home
A calm, patient, loving environment
A comfortable bed and plenty of cuddles
Someone who understands the needs of senior dogs
A consistent daily routine and gentle exercise suited to his abilities
A home without small animals
A family willing to provide his ongoing medication and veterinary care
Someone who will cherish every single day with him

Why Adopt a Senior?
Senior dogs have something incredibly special to offer. They’ve spent their lives loving their humans, and they ask for so little in return.
Bentley may have fewer years ahead of him than a puppy, but those years deserve to be filled with just as much happiness, dignity, comfort, and love.
We can’t promise Bentley another 13 years, but we can promise to do everything we can to make his remaining years beautiful.
Bentley deserves to spend his golden years knowing that he is wanted, valued, safe, and loved.
Could you be the person who gives Bentley the happy ending he deserves?
