DESCRIPTION
Meet Tango!
A Lab mix that's sweet, intelligent, and easygoing companion who loves being part of the family while still having an independent streak. One of his best qualities is how well he communicates when it's time to go outside, he'll calmly sit by the front door to let you know he needs a potty break.
With his beautiful, shiny black coat and gentle personality, he's as handsome as he is lovable. His favorite "treats" aren't food-they're squeaky toys and his Kong bone! He enjoys greeting friends and familiar faces at the door, though he's not particularly fond of delivery drivers and prefers to let you know when they've arrived. Despite his watchful nature, he's an easygoing dog who settles in nicely at home.
He's independent and loves being close to his people. You can usually find him relaxing nearby, happy just to be by your side without needing constant attention.
Ask a care team member for a meet and greet with Tango.
ABOUT: BLACK LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The black Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile breed known for its friendly nature, intelligence, and loyalty. They are agile, keen swimmers with a strong work ethic, making them excellent hunting and service dogs. Their glossy black coat is low maintenance and sheds minimally, while their friendly temperament makes them great family pets. Black Labs are known for their outgoing personalities and eagerness to please, making them loving companions in various roles and settings.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
