Raven - Black Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Chehalis, Washington

I was brought in as an owner surrender with my friend, Bubba. I am a very sweet but extremely shy girl, estimated to be around 1 year old. I am a Black Lab weighing close to 55-60lbs. I am looking for a patient and loving home that will help me come out of my shell and see the world as the fun place it should be. I am very curious and would come around in no time, but here at the shelter it is very stressful. I have not been socialized so everything is a new experience to me. I know simple basic commands but will need work on leash training. I have been an outdoor dog my whole life, so potty training would be needed as well. I get along with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a friendly and confident dog to show me the ropes. I have never seen a cat before, so that reaction is unknown. I would do well with kids, given time to get comfortable in my new environment. I might knock them over on accident, but I could grow to love respectful kids. I am not yet spayed, but I have an appointment scheduled on June 25th. I am already vaccinated and microchipped, now ready to meet my new loving family!
