After recently losing his owner, Barley is looking for a special person or family to spend his golden years with. Barley is a senior lab with lots of love left to give and he would be happiest in a calm, comfortable home where he can enjoy life at his own pace.

Barley really does love everyone! He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, adults, and kids. Give him some pets and a few treats, and you'll be his favorite person.

At 12, Barley is a senior gentleman and his new family will need to be mindful of his age and changing needs. He has some known kidney issues and is currently doing well on a prescription renal diet, which will need to continue as part of his care. He also has some difficulty with stairs and slippery hardwood floors, so a home with fewer stairs and some rugs or other traction would help him get around comfortably.
