Bruno - Black Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Brockport, New York

Meet Bruno!

He is a 5 months old Black Lab x German Shepherd mix. Big paws, a stocky build, a happy personality, and a heart full of love! Meet Bruno, a handsome boy who is the perfect combination of Lab sweetness and Shepherd smarts.

Bruno was rescued from a puppy mill a few weeks ago, but it didn't take long for this good boy to figure out that life had so much more to offer. Bruno is a happy, loyal, affectionate guy who loves his people and gets along well with other dogs. He’s being fostered on a farm and is also great with the cats, cows and horses too! Bruno can be a little unsure around men at first, but he's learning to trust and continues to make great progress. He's a smart boy who will benefit from continued positive experiences, patience, and guidance as he grows. He walks nicely on a leash, but being crated is not his favorite thing, and he's certainly not shy about letting you know! He signals he has to go to the bathroom which has made potty training easy - he’s smart! An active home that can provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation will help him burn off that puppy energy so he can settle comfortably in a safe, cozy spot in the house. A fenced yard is not required.

Bruno is looking for a family ready for all the fun, adventure, training, and companionship that come with raising a young dog. He has the Lab looks, the Shepherd brains, and all the potential to grow into one incredibly loyal best friend. He's fully vetted and ready to trade his puppy mill past for a lifetime of love. Could Bruno be your boy? Apply today!
