Meet Finn!

Finn (8 years old, 80 lbs.) would make the sweetest addition to your family! If anyone is looking for an amazing senior, Finn is the dog for you!

His foster says: Finn is a very chill dog. Around the house, he likes to stretch out on the cool hardwood floors or curl up in his bed. He loves to be petted, scratched and loves belly rubs. We haven’t heard him bark yet! He sleeps all through the night and a good part of the day. He doesn’t beg for food, has not exhibited any counter surfing behavior or sensitivity to loud noises or commotion.

Finn would love to be the only dog where he could have all the attention and be loved into his senior years. He could also likely do well with another well-adjusted dog in the home.

Finn has done well with most other dogs and likes to play. He is eager to initially meet other dogs and can come on a little strong. He would do best with a 6 ft. privacy type fence. He does best when introduced to new friends in a neutral location.

Finn has a high prey drive and isn't a fit for a home with feline friends. Finn has lived with kids and done well. Finn does seem to prefer quieter more predictable homes, so we recommend kids over 10.

He is very friendly with people and would thrive in a home with a single person or a couple. He might also do well with older children. He is looking for a family who will give him a good structure and routine.

Finn loves to take a long morning walk and another in the evening where he can practice his leash skills and commands. The rest of the day he is happy to take long naps in his bed, on the cool tile floors, or on the grass in the backyard.

Finn has a lot of good years left in him and doesn’t need a lot of training and is looking for a good home with a family that can provide him with a moderate of exercise and unlimited belly rubs.
