DESCRIPTION
Mia is a 1 year old spayed female Lab/Carolina Dog mix who was brought up from Mississippi about 8 months ago. Mia is still working on her puppy manners and potty training (doing well with both). Mia is very smart and trainable. With her energy, she would do well with older children as she doesn't know her own size and strength at times. She loves to run and play and will carry around a stuffed toy to show it off. Mia would make a wonderful dog for someone with a fenced in yard and room to play.
ABOUT: BLACK LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The black Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile breed known for its friendly nature, intelligence, and loyalty. They are agile, keen swimmers with a strong work ethic, making them excellent hunting and service dogs. Their glossy black coat is low maintenance and sheds minimally, while their friendly temperament makes them great family pets. Black Labs are known for their outgoing personalities and eagerness to please, making them loving companions in various roles and settings.
The Carolina Dog, a primitive breed known for its wild ancestry, is a medium sized, agile, and intelligent dog originally found roaming freely in the Southeastern United States. With a distinctive appearance marked by erect ears, a bushy tail, and a sable coat, Carolina Dogs are highly adaptable, affectionate with their families, and wary of strangers, making them excellent watchdogs. Their natural hunting instincts and independence require consistent training and an active lifestyle to thrive in a loving home environment.
