Bentley is a stunning 3-year-old black Lab with movie-star looks and a heart to match. While his story started off a little rough—he and his brother found themselves in a high-kill shelter in Louisiana—this boy is all about happy endings. They were lucky enough to be pulled by a rescue, and a kind local kennel stepped up to care for them. When plans fell through and they were left waiting again, Bentley just kept being his wonderful self.

When we stepped in, Bentley got the full VIP treatment, including all his vetting. Like many southern pups, he tested positive for heartworms, but he’s taken it like a champ and has already completed treatment—healthy, happy, and ready to go!

And let’s talk about what really matters—his personality. Bentley is an absolute gentleman. No wild jumping, no nonsense—just a good boy who knows how to behave. He’s great on the leash, gets along with dogs big and small, and has that easygoing, lovable Lab vibe everyone adores. Basically, he’s the kind of dog who makes life better just by being in it. Bentley is being fostered in Louisiana - we bring our dogs up to the Northeast when we have a foster or a home.
