Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time***

We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.


Meet Sven, a 1 year old playful 37lbs hound mix who’s ready to bring endless joy to his forever home! With his silly personality and loving nature, Sven is the kind of dog who wants to be right by your side—whether that’s playing, cuddling, or just hanging out.

Sven is a social guy who does great with other dogs. He loves to play and gets especially excited when he finds a buddy who matches his energy, but he’s also very respectful and knows when to give other dogs space. On walks, he’s calm and well-mannered, showing interest in other dogs without pulling or reacting.

He’s also proven to be cat-friendly! Sven has lived with a cat and does well, though he can be a little cautious at first. With his gentle and observant nature, he adjusts nicely and doesn’t show any aggression.

Around the house, Sven is an easy companion. He’s fully house-trained and has done well both in a crate and when left out for short periods. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys his daily exercise, and settles down well after he’s had time to burn off some energy.

Sven’s favorite things? Toys, belly rubs, and being close to his people. He’s incredibly affectionate—he’ll happily flop over for pets, wiggle his way in for snuggles, or perch on the couch to keep an eye on everything. He’s also a smart boy who reads people and other animals well, though he’ll benefit from continued work on basic commands.

Sven would thrive in a home that can give him plenty of love, attention, and a balance of playtime and relaxation. Whether it’s a family or an individual, as long as he’s included and adored, Sven will be one happy pup—and an amazing companion.
