Chico - Bichon Frise and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Athens, Ontario

CHICO

Bichon Frise, Mixed Breed
🇨🇦
Athens, Ontario
June 18th
male, small, adult

DESCRIPTION

Meet Chico, a sweet 8-pound terrier mix who is practically a professional cuddler! At three years old, this little guy is neutered, fully vaccinated, and officially ready to find his forever home.

Chico is fully house-trained, though he’s currently doing a tiny bit of "apartment decorating" (marking) as his post-neuter hormones settle and he navigates life with another male foster pup. Don't worry, though—he's wonderful when left alone, loves a good car ride, and thrives on a few short walks a day. Bonus points: he is an absolute angel for the groomer!

Chico is incredibly adaptable and ready to match your lifestyle. Watching a movie? He’s down. Relaxing on the deck? He’s there. Time for bed? He’ll happily snuggle up next to you all night long. He also gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and kids (in fact, Chico is convinced that kids are just giant snuggle-and-treat factories).

This smart, eager-to-please little gentleman is just looking for his perfect match. Will you be the person he gets to love forever?

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
