Bruno - Bernese Mountain Dog and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Oakville, Ontario

BRUNO — 312 years old Male

A ball to chase, a comfy bed, and someone to offer a good massage, Bruno has his priorities sorted! With his golden coat and wonderfully expressive face, this handsome boy brings a delightful mix of playful fun and relaxed companionship.

Bruno is a big fan of fetch and is always pleased to spend some time with his collection of toys. Whether it’s a ball or a favourite soft toy, he enjoys having something fun to do, especially when you join in. Once playtime wraps up, he’s happy to settle onto his bed for a well-earned snooze. He knows how to make the most of both activity time and downtime!

One of Bruno’s most charming habits is sitting beside you and offering his paw. Sometimes he’s asking for attention, sometimes he’s trying to tell you something, but either way, it’s hard to resist. A good massage is high on his list of favourite things, and he enjoys those quiet moments spent close to his people.

Bruno brings some lovely house manners with him. He knows a variety of everyday cues, and comes when called in his familiar home environment. He is best described as a good boy who will sit beside you rather than jump up to say hello. He settles well indoors and saves his chewing for his toys.

Out and about, Bruno is described as walking nicely on leash and travelling calmly in the car. He has been friendly with other dogs and has lived with children. Neighbourhood strolls, a little exploring, and time together would all fit nicely into his next chapter.

Bruno has a softer side, too. He can be a little shy when meeting unfamiliar people and may stay close to someone he knows while he gets acquainted. A gentle introduction gives him the chance to approach in his own time and let his playful personality shine.

What is Bruno hoping to find? A family who will include him in everyday life, enjoy a game of fetch, head out for walks, and make time for companionship. Add a comfortable spot to stretch out and a good massage, and you’ve covered some of his favourite things!
