Jasper came to us from a neglectful situation, tied up outside with a rope that became embedded in his neck. He still has the scar. What he does not have is any hard feelings about people. He is friendly, happy, and good with other dogs. A little anxiety lingers, mostly at the start of new things, and it fades once he knows he is not going anywhere and nothing bad will happen.
He has plenty of energy, loves his toys, and already knows a few commands. Car rides are a favorite. Leash walking is still a work in progress, but he is willing. Jasper is looking for an active home with the patience to help him finish learning and is happy to provide a friendly, loyal companion in return.
