Meet Atlas!
Atlas is an 8-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog who has already experienced far more than any puppy should. When Atlas came to us, he was extremely emaciated and showed clear signs that he had spent much of his young life confined to a cage. Despite his past, this sweet boy is learning what it means to finally be safe, loved, and part of a family.
Atlas is doing wonderfully with his house manners and is housebroken and crate trained. He is also greatly helped by the companionship of other dogs, so he will need another friendly, social dog in his forever home to help him continue building confidence.
Because of Atlass history and everything he has been through, he needs a patient, understanding, breed-savvy home that will allow him time to adjust and continue learning that the world can be a good place. He would do best in a home without small children.
Atlas is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. He has so much life ahead of him, and we cant wait to see the incredible dog he becomes once he knows what it feels like to truly be loved.
